How to Create Your Wedding Invitation

From setting up your wedding details to sharing personalised links with guests — here is everything you need to know.

01

Access your dashboard

Navigate to the sign-in page and enter your credentials. Once logged in, you will land on the Dashboard — your central view for all invitations and RSVP data.

If you do not have an account yet, contact the administrator to set one up for your event.
02

Configure

Set your wedding details

Open Settings and fill in the Wedding Details tab: your names, wedding date and time, venue name, full address, a Google Maps link, and your RSVP deadline. This information appears on every guest's invitation automatically.

  • Upload a hero photo (recommended ratio 3:2 or 16:9) — it appears as the full-width background image.
  • Add up to six gallery photos to share moments or give guests a glimpse of your venue.
  • The Maps URL is turned into a tap-to-navigate button on mobile — link directly to the venue pin.
03

Customise

Choose your style

Switch to the Appearance tab in Settings. Pick a template, colour theme, and font pairing — all changes are previewed before you save and take effect on live invitations instantly.

  • 4 templates: Envelope Classic, Minimal Scroll, Velvet Noir, and Botanical Arch.
  • 9 colour themes: Champagne, Rose Gold, Sage Green, Navy & Gold, Lavender, Dusty Rose, Terracotta, Midnight, and Blush Ivory.
  • 5 font pairings: Classic, Romantic, Modern, Elegant, and Rustic.
  • Envelope Classic also offers a falling petals animation — toggle it on or off.
04

Invite

Create and share invitations

From the Dashboard, click "+ New Invitation". Enter the recipient's name and select their member category (Only You, Both of You, or All the Family). A unique shareable link is generated immediately.

  • Copy the link from the table and share it via WhatsApp, email, or SMS.
  • The Dashboard shows Sent, Viewed, Pending, Accepted, and Declined counts in real time.
  • Click on a guest row to see their RSVP response, guest count, and personal message.
  • Delete an invitation from the table if a guest needs to be removed — this also clears their RSVP.

Tips

  • Each invitation link is unique to one guest — avoid sharing it publicly or with multiple recipients.
  • Your RSVP deadline appears on every invitation and reminds guests when to respond by.
  • Updating your wedding details (venue, date, etc.) reflects on all live invitations immediately.

FAQ

Common questions

Yes. All live invitation links reflect your current settings immediately — including template, colour theme, and font pairing. Guests who open the link after a change will see the updated design.

Each invitation link accepts one RSVP. Once a guest submits their response, the form is replaced with a confirmation message. Contact us if you need to reset a response.

Each account supports one wedding configuration. The wedding details, template, and settings all belong to one event. If you need to manage multiple events, create separate accounts.

There is no hard limit on invitation links you can create. Generate as many as you need — one per household or one per individual guest.

Open the Dashboard, find the guest row in the table, and click the trash icon. This removes the invitation and any RSVP response associated with it. The unique link becomes inactive immediately.
